Step One:

Start with a clean slate. Have a section of the fridge dedicated to drinks. Add lemon slices to a glass pitcher with water and ice to take it into the “happy” zone.

Step Two:

Add an area rug in front of the sink.  It will catch drips but will help show off your personality.

Step Five:

Peruse your local stores or look online for colourful and artful accessories and cookware. Inject them onto your kitchen count or table or walls. Look for vintage items as well. They are economical and unique and will also show off your personality.
