Welcome! We are so excited to announce a special collaboration between Designers Collective, from Vancouver Canada, and Chewsy Lovers from Fort Lauderdale Florida, that you are going to LOVE!
Join us for a 30 day challenge to fall in love with your kitchen again. With our design ideas, tips, inspirations, and cooking hacks, you will create your own ‘Happy Kitchen’. By the end of the month we hope your kitchen will become the most favorite room in your house!

Why a Happy Kitchen Project?
Brooke and I were asked by our friends at Alt Summit to participate in a collaborative project which would pair us with bloggers from either Blogalicious or Latina Bloggers Connect. The project is called coLAB, which is the acronym for collaboration between Latina Bloggers, Alt Summit Bloggers and Blogalicious Bloggers. As part of the Alt Summit Blogging crew, we have been partnered with Blogalicious Blogger, Mandi Buckner of Chewsy Lovers.
So what is a ‘Happy Kitchen?’
Growing up, for most of us, our kitchen was the undisputed heart of our home. We ate most meals there as a family, hovered around our mother as she cooked our family dinners, and parties, no matter where or how they started, always turned into ‘A Kitchen Party’.
A Happy Kitchen, in our collective opinion, is a place with a great vibe that you love: a bright, fun, welcoming place for family and friends to gather, enjoy a meal, inspire creative culinary adventures, and make memories.
Who are we?
Designers Collective is an Interior Design and Lifestyle duo. Tina Dhillon is a registered Architect and Brooke Hatfield is an Interior Designer. We offer design and lifestyle strategies which help you transform your home like a professional through our blogs, workshops, design tours, and design advice.
Chewsy Lovers is a food lifestyle site run by two professional chefs. Chewsy Lovers focuses on food as a vehicle for building healthy relationships. Mandi Buckner and her husband Buckaroo, encourage other couples, like themselves, to keep life sweet, the love spicy, and the dinner table simple and delicious!
